Christine Ndoigo, Chair of Mustakabali Wetu

Christine Ndoigo

Chair of the Board

Christine Ndoigo is a passionate community leader, educator and humanitarian with a long-standing commitment to supporting vulnerable children in Kenya. A teacher by profession and former schools inspector in Nakuru and Baringo counties, she has also served as a board director at the Ministry of Water and seat at the County Board of Anti-Corruption Campaign in Baringo.

As a devoted Christian and mother, Christine personally inspired her late son, Geoffrey Kihara, to start Mustakabali Wetu, a Community Based Organization dedicated to helping needy children. After his passing, she took over the leadership and has continued to grow the organization with dedication and vision.

Under her leadership with strong support from Mustakabali Wetu Co-founder and Co-chair Lisa Anna Palmer, Mustakabali Wetu has expanded its programs beyond basic support for vulnerable children to include sports, coaching, and mentorship empowering young people to discover their potential and build brighter futures across Baringo, Nakuru, Turkana, West Pokot and Elgeyo Marakwet counties.

Christine brings strong leadership, compassion, and local knowledge to the team. She is deeply involved in day-to-day program planning and is often the first to respond when a family is in need. She plays a key role in community outreach, especially when it comes to encouraging parents to keep their children in school.

As Chair, she works closely with other team members to ensure that every child supported by Mustakabali Wetu feels seen, valued, and hopeful about their future. Christine believes in leading with love, and her presence continues to inspire trust and unity within the community.

Lisa Anna Palmer

Co-Founder & Co-Chair

Lisa Anna Palmer is the Co-President of the Board of Directors, Mustakabali Wetu-Our Future. Lisa became friends with Founder, Geoffrey Kihara Ndoigo in 2021. She was so inspired by his leadership and his desire to serve the children in his community who were in great need that she offered to help him advance his noble project.

First as a leadership coach and by helping with fundraisers, and then as a close collaborator and friend with a shared purpose. Lisa considered Geoffrey as a brother from far away and worked with him for nearly three years to help him clarify his vision, keep the children in school, and develop strategies to one day establish Mustakabali Wetu-Our Future as an international charitable organization.

While Geoffrey's illness and eventual passing left Lisa heartbroken, she felt both humbled and honoured when Geoffrey's family asked her to collaborate with them to continue to keep Geoffrey's dream alive.

Lisa is the proud daughter of Italian immigrants. She grew up in Canada, where she currently resides with her husband, Andrew and son, Jake, along with their extended family.

In addition to volunteering for Mustakabali Wetu-Our Future, Lisa is the Founder of Light Your Leadership Inc., where she is an executive coach and entrepreneur who has been recognized with multiple awards to recognize her impact in the field of leadership development, which includes coaching, training, writing the international bestselling book, "Light A Fire In Their Hearts: The Truth About Leadership," and being the creator of the LYLTalks podcast.

Lisa also gives back to her community in Canada as a volunteer and is a member on two Boards of Directors, including the Community Navigation of Eastern Ontario (CNEO 2-1-1), and the Obsidian Leadership Development Centre.
